How to Become a Foster Carer - The Practical Requirements

Children and young people come from all walks of life and that’s why we need foster carers who reflect the full diversity of our modern society. You could be heterosexual, gay, marriWalking Familyed or living together, with or without children, single or divorced  or you could be a single parent. Similarly, we encourage fostering applications from people of different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds to reflect the diversity of young people in care. Some of our foster carers work while others are at home. Some have children at home and others have none or have children who have left the family home.
